Sports at HCC

Modified Sports

8th grade boys and girls can participate in a variety of after-school modified sport teams, which include soccer, baseball, basketball, softball, lacrosse, track and field, cross country, football, and volleyball. Games are played against other schools.  Practice usually takes place from 2:45 to 4:30 P.M.    Students need medical clearance from the school nurse before they begin practice.  Games are usually scheduled to begin at 4:15 P.M.  For more specific information, please contact Mr. Repa in the fall and Mr. Christian in the winter at H. C. C. Middle School at 273-4250, extension 409 & 442.

Intramural Sports

H.C. Crittenden is in the process of organizing an after school intramural sports program open to all students. The goal is for students to develop an appreciation for physical activity through participating in sports that they enjoy.  Interested students will be able to select the sport that they would like to participate in. The intramural sports program would take place immediately after school until 3:30 or 3:45. Many standard sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball) may be offered. In addition, other atypical sports/activities (fitness, watermelon, ultimate frisbee) may be offered.
